Each October, SWE-USC invites 1st and 2nd-grade students from schools in the surrounding neighborhood for a day of festive activities. The kids, dressed in costume, participate in crafts, games, and making snacks.
Engineering Is SWEll
Each fall, SWE-USC invites 80 girls from local elementary schools to participate in a variety of engineering workshops and learn basic science principles.
Engineering Is SWEet
The Spring equivalent of Engineering is SWEll, SWE-USC hosts engineering workshops for elementary school kids from the local community to pique their curiosity in STEM fields at a young age.
High School Conference
SWE members guide 100 girls from 9th through 12th grade through a series of workshops inspired by different engineering fields, including Roller Coaster Mechanics, Potato Batteries, Strawberry DNA, CAD Programming, and Paper Airplane Assembly.
